The Management Team

A company lacking in sound management is like a boat without oars, floating with no direction and destination. The perfect combination of dynamism, competence and out standing management skills would often produce a productive company and a thriving business. It cannot be denied that the exceptional progress reflected by ASIA MOBILE is largely owing to these three factors which make up the vibrant persona of our knowledgeable management team.

Heading the management team is Mr. Jason Chin. A Malaysian aged 32, Mr. Chin is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the company. Among his main responsibilities are to plan the future growth and developments of the company, and execute decisions which have been collectively agreed to by the Board of Directors.

Mr. Chin underwent his tertiary education at Stamford College, Penang where he obtained a Certificate in Business Marketing & Administration in 1995. Prior to his attachment to ASIA MOBILE, he was the Chief Operating Officer at World Trade Electron Sdn Bhd, an e-commerce company with regional offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Mr. Chin has been the think-tank of the company’s innovative business models. His numerous capabilities and years of experience permit him to profitably capitalise on the opportunities offered by the mobile industry.

 

Mr. Choong Yin Chau . A Malaysian aged 32, Mr. Choong is the Chief Technology Officer of the company. He is in charge of the company’s overall planning, feasibility and implementation of wireless and Internet-related technologies for sales purposes.

Mr. Choong obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1997. Before his attachment to ASIA MOBILE, he was the Senior Software Manager for DotCom Consulting Sdn Bhd.

Mr. Choong has almost 8 years of experience in different computing environments, including mainframe, client-server and other Internet technologies.
